The stands themselves are strong, durable and easy to install. Love the straps that support and hold my kayaks on the racks and the ability to attach yaks for storage. I have a problem with the plastic clips on the ends of the posts. I bought 2 sets and kept one of my kayaks a week apart. When I was about to stow my second kayak, I noticed that the plastic pieces on the end of the rack had broken, rendering the straps unusable. I had to buy square U-bolts with faceplates to solve this problem. If they could use metal clips on both sides instead of just one that would be great.
