I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

I want to introduce you to my attitude to the product Radar Mount Mirror Detector Bracket. Excellent piece of iron, but only for the track. The city is almost always turned off, as it reacts to everything. The arrow catches on a straight road for more than 1.5 km. If the arrow or other radar is deployed to the stern (in the direction of travel), it also catches, but for 150-200 meters.

  • Catches all cameras and radars (at the moment), built-in GPS with notification of approaching the camera, the button to turn off the beep on the "cigarette lighter"
Cons
  • The price tag is certainly not humane. I bought it for 24, now it costs 46. The GPS sensor is weak and does not penetrate well through athermal glass.

I'm not particularly happy, but basically everything is fine.

The price is currently about 47,000. I took it for 30,000. I think its real price is no more than 20,000. Lots of mistakes! Raw product. And the firmware here will not solve the problem. By the way, I don’t advise turning off the X range either - they catch the Falcon on the track. (at least in the Novgorod region). All stores selling this radar indicate fantastic pickup distances to radars. Don't believe. All this is nonsense. And once again I repeat: in the city 90% of the alarms are false!

  • The price is absolutely not justified! There is no GPS base for St. Petersburg. In the city, in general, a useless thing - it bursts on everything. I do not recommend turning off the K1 range. "Cordon" operates at a frequency of 24081 GHz. Detection distance: "Krechet" - 300m, "Cordon" - 300-500 m. This is in the "Track" mode. The display is very small, it is almost impossible to see the numbers. Recently I came across a radar similar to "Chris" -S, so he took it from 100 meters. With non-working bases, this is 100% aerial. Therefore, there is no need to talk about any stability. Rescue the radar bases in the GPS navigator. Otherwise, in the city with Max blockage.

before that there was 9540ex from the street, I thought everything - here it is a top product, but no, the street is the average level, at least in detectors, I doubted for a long time whether to take max or not, I took it and did not regret it, everything is clear. Max has no competitors, I wanted to put a bifurcation, but I didn’t, I’m afraid there won’t be anything to catch.

  • clear, catches everything for 3 km, even hand-held radars, good view, the mount is nowhere more reliable, the suction cup is indestructible, passed clearly without loss along the roads of the Urals, despite shaking
Cons
  • maybe the cost, but the top is the top, you have to pay for it, in the city, of course, it makes more noise than on the highway, but still there is not a single fine, it turns out to be profitable, for those who drown, it’s just right, sometimes the device shakes on bumps, but you need to stick paper and everything will be clear.

Not suitable for max 360 without mods

The spring clip is very difficult to open. Turning off the radar is a chore. The worst thing is the black bar you see in the photos. Well, it doesn't clean the max360, so every time you put the max360 on you're scratching the top of the rear radar laser. You can get around this by using the factory magnetic tab and using that in place of the spring clip. The 2 rear screw holes of the factory tab fit into the 2 screw holes of the bracket. Requires a little drilling to reveal the factory bolt…

Pretty good mount

I was a little scared to buy this mount because of all the negative reviews. I am very satisfied so far. I drive a lot (25,000 miles a year, I live on Long Island and commute to work in New York, the pothole capital, and despite ALL those bumps, the radar detector only fell off its mount once and never happened again. As mentioned, snaps the tab that goes into the mount does NOT go in the radar like it should or like the OEM mount BUT I think the design is really great The ONLY thing that could

MUST READ if the mounting clip won't hold your passport Max

I felt I should review this mount as there are no 5 star reviews. I've been using a radar detector for years, when a friend of mine suggested a transom mount with my new Passport MAX radar detector it was time for me to have something permanent instead of risking a windshield mount and wrecking my $600 radar detector. I saw the $100 mirror mount option and laughed when I decided to buy this and I'm so glad I did. This is perfect for my Focus ST and also my 2016 Mustang GT friend with rain…
