Perfect hose connector

This connector was the perfect solution when the patio brick paver steps did not allow enough room for the spicket and hose connection to meet code.

Not a single drop leaked

The way things should be. Went in real easy and not so much as a drop leaked. I’ve bought others that wouldn’t seal no matter what.

Simple and works well

The hose bib is only a few inches above the sidewalk. This allows for a hose to be connected without crimping the hose. Being solid brass, it should last for years.

Add a couple more threads to ensure fittings.

Used it to have hose at a better angle from the faucet, but the issue is that the thread was quite short by about 2 to 3 turns which should have been added.

Unreliable - my new review

Needed a 90° fitting to make a clean install of a garden hose to my new hot tub. Used a fresh washer every time and used a wrench to tighten but couldn’t for the life of me keep it from leaking on the female side. Made the connection without this fitting and now no leaks.
