Real bearings have been replaced with non-circular plastic balls

The platter arrived deformed with the center screw broken from the base. This listing spoke of high quality steel ball bearings, but this turntable only had "rounded" plastic balls. So the listing about steel bearings is a hoax and presumably the plastic base itself can handle the heat in the bearing.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Lasts long

Waste of money for kitchen & dining room

The screw holding it together fell out when I picked it up. I was able to put it back together. It's cheaply made, made entirely of flimsy plastic. I wanted to use it for small containers of coffee grounds, filters, milk jug and sugar next to the coffee pot. The sound is very loud and hoarse, there is nothing to it. It's too slippery and with the slightest movement, everything slips off.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Slim design saves valuable fridge space

I bought this for the top shelf in my fridge. I used to buy one from another company but its use was limited because it had an edge/ledge and was twice as wide so I could only use it for a few shorter items in my fridge. Half of the items I needed to store I couldn't because they had to be short enough to protrude over the edge/lip of Lazy Susan and small enough not to bump against the top of the fridge. The Ram-Pro's streamlined design solved both of those problems. I was able to store a few…

Two thumbs up! fits Lazy Susan

I bought these to place in cupboards above the washer/dryer. These are deep and tall cabinets, making it difficult to get things from the back. until I have these! This is a great size for my closets. They're very unobtrusive, so they don't take up a lot of extra unusable space. I have one on every shelf. I like that there is no protrusion on these turntables, which allows for more usable space and makes it easier to access the products stored on them. The texture also grips foods so they don't

Garbage - avoid at all costs!

I took the item out of the box, removed the front sticker from the turntable and it fell apart with the insides flying all over the place. Inside are some round balls that act as bearings to allow the table to rotate - they were flying all over the place and had to be chased. In short, the thread where the halves join was not properly tapped and the mounting screw was too short. They just put it together and I don't even know what held it together. Fastened with my own larger screw. AVOID…

Less than expected quality and value

Okay, I've read a lot of reviews. Many have argued that ball bearings are made of plastic. The ones I received had steel bearings. It says it holds 65 pounds. No to that. It spins well but is made out of very thin plastic and you need to distribute the weight evenly on it to keep it from tipping or tipping over. Value for money 2 out of 5 points. The price was double or triple the actual value. Now here's where it's useful for me. I use it for painting and flip the substrates over while…

Sturdy construction

This Lazy Susan consists of two identical thick plastic circles connected back to back with something (ball bearing?) that allows them to rotate. There is a small gap between the circles. It's not clear if they snap or stick together. There's no obvious way to analyze it, but there's certainly no reason why you should. There is no "lip" on the plastic circles, which allows me to layer some paint overhanging the edges. This may or may not be a good feature for you. The upper is structured with…

FALSE ADVERTISING! (See my photos for comparison)

The photo provided to us by the seller clearly shows 3 rows of METAL bearings, but the product I received has 2 rows of PLASTIC bearings. (compare the seller's photos to mine) It was very difficult to turn so I figured maybe the bearings just need some oil and when I opened it up the problem was immediately apparent. Not only are the bearings plastic, they aren't smooth either. You still have parts of the seam from the mold. The frame that holds them in place is also very rough. Then to top it…
