Poor and cheap in kitchen & dining room

We haven't had this but have had it for a couple of months and had problems with it straight away. First he will shoot the can across the room. Then put the hand bent and now the handle fell apart. I don't want a replacement because it's cheap. I will inquire about a refund

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The jars didn't stand a chance

I'm sorry to let the can community know that I've killed many of their brethren with this device. I think other banks will now recognize me and try to run away when I enter the store, but they will also get what is due to them. Does what I bought it for.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • A little crumpled

David can. What else can I say.

Bought to replace a can crusher I have had for years. The one I had wasn't very good - I had to replace almost all of the rivets, sand and paint for rust and re-epoxy the handle more than once. I did notice that this one was made of thicker metal and seemed sturdier, although that might be because I got the 12-ounce can version. So far it's working well, but time will tell. 4 stars for now, will update if it lasts.

  • Pleased

Easy to install product with poor design

Easy to install product with poor design. After two cans were crushed, the top plate peeled the paint off the inner rear metal plate. After crushing less than a dozen cans, the foam covered grip on the right side popped out and the pen wouldn't stay in. What should have been done with one hand is now possible with two hands just to hold the handle in place so you can crush the cans. . I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Upgrades

Handle falls apart after use - do not buy!

I've had this item for a little over three months now - it's cheap which I proved today when one of the handle rivets popped out of the handle shoulder. It won't even stay in your hand if you crush a can without holding everything together with both hands. If you read the other reviews, you'll see that this is a common complaint (which I didn't notice when I originally ordered). In general, the entire product is cheaply made. The entire handle assembly wobbles when you crush the cans and looks…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Slightly less durable than model 77702 with longer curved steel shaft handle, but this one is more compact, slightly more ergonomic and looks more comfortable in the kitchen (77702 stands in the garage and this one in the kitchen). Both work well, but the 77702 relies less on small rivets and more on rough, bent steel to make it more durable; this is Spider-Man for 77702's Hulk. (However, the two units are 98% equivalent in function; 77702 breaks the can maybe 1/4 inch flatter than the Ram-Pro.

Pros
  • Not just usable for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are nuances

Worth the money and what I learned with it.

I was looking for a cheap way to shred cans and it worked pretty well. All in all it will work, and I was also the victim of a poorly fastened handle! Instead of writing a bad review for what seemed like a minor design flaw, I stuck the bar in the grip and rested that side on the flat part of the anvil. A few hammer hits - on the opposite side of the pin - and I'm back in business. Thanks dad, I learned a lot from you. The action is pretty simple, insert the jar, pull the handle down and repeat

Pros
  • acceptable
Cons
  • sad packaging

Fall apart easily Good for kitchen & dining room

I bought this item thinking that I would crush all our jars and then save them to take to a local recycling company and get some money back. When it arrived in the mail I was excited and ready to use it. My husband fixed it to the wall and I started my own can crushing business. Most of the cans he tried to crush were 12-ounce Coke cans. After a few minutes I realized I made a huge mistake ordering this product. Banks were sometimes difficult to crush and required a lot of 'ump'. Admittedly…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
