I didn't want to winter my Jeep with a crappy cover so I tried these

I have a 1979 CJ-7. I didn't want to winter in my jeep with a crappy cover, so I tried that. It fits very well. My setup consists of half doors (soft), mesh top (bikini), standard roll bar and nothing else. Two rear straps secure the rear end around the stock taillights. The sides are attached with a small plastic hook to the ends of short pieces of elastic that don't stretch enough to reach the rocker panels. Not very good description and photo WRONG

For soft top 1159 with door leaves, first it does NOT fit the hard top, then it does not fit the soft top! I found the description on another website and this was designed to be worn with a soft top down. After reading this we tried this with the top down and the hard doors still closed and we had 2 problems. First, it uses the canopy's channels at the rear to hold the canopy in place, but the canopy creates a lot of tension, even when folded, to bring both sides together. Also, the clips are…
