This shift knob was great for the first four weeks of ownership. Unfortunately the top layer started to rot and chip almost immediately and now it looks like it's 10 years old. I don't wear rings or jewelry so it was solely caused by contact with my hand. Shame because it looked really good and was a great upgrade, but I guess good things don't last forever. I just want it to last longer than a month.

Fits the NV4500 grip like it was made for it. I bought a truck with a cheap plastic skull shifter that vibrated and rattled. This pen is a quality product. It fits my medium male hand as well as my wife's small hand. If you have very large gorilla hands, you might find them a bit small. The only downside is that the truck gets hot in summer when parked in the sun, but cools down quickly when the AC fan blows on it.

I would have preferred a black shift knob as the chrome is a little off the rest of my Wrangler TJ interior, but the shift knob is sleek, solid and easy to install. And chrome is growing on me. I won't replace it and I wouldn't say I like it just yet, but I can definitely live with it. How it is done - absolutely no problem with it. It ran perfectly and tightens right where you want it. If you like shiny chrome shift knob, this is definitely a good quality item.
