Price = excellent. bristles = excellent. The brush itself = eh. The paint comes off incredibly easily. I can handle it, but it's a lot more uncomfortable holding a paintless brush. Expect shards!

Love these brushes. Use them on mixed media work to make them bounce between paint, plaster and gel and I sometimes leave them in my cup of water for days! But they don't show all the wear and tear I've been through. I will order them again.

Hair doesn't fall out like some other inexpensive brands we've tried. Certainly not professional level, but very good for the price. Good soft brushes. The quality seems to be ok. My daughter who uses them is very careful and gentle with them so they should hold her for a while.

The brushes are very mediocre, do the job but feel very cheap. I think it's ok for a newbie. Also, one of the brush heads broke when I opened it, so I really only had 6 brushes. Save money on higher quality brushes and you'll thank yourself in the long run. I now have to order another set from another brand to have a complete set.

Very good basic brush set. The bristles are very good, I haven't had a single molt. Works great with watercolor. Saved my sanity from picking hairs out of art and painting products which has been my experience with other brush sets. I'm so glad I decided to trust Ranger - I don't think I've ever been disappointed with a Ranger product.

I paint a lot and saw a demonstration using these watercolor brushes. They are fine for this but I bought another set from Revain which is cheaper and outperforms most of my other brushes. I will be using them for crafts, games and painting with my grandkids and if they ever break I can easily replace them as they are not too expensive.
