Works well, 4.5 " x 8.5 " sheets require guide adjustment. Love it!

I bought these to punch half sheets of plain letter size paper for use in my A5 6 hole Carpe Diem planner. While I wish the retractable guide had a line setting for this, the notch in the A5 guide isn't quite ideal for half-letter (4.5 x 8.5 inch) paper. However, to make it work, I messed up the placement of the instructions a bit. to get it where I could punch the paper one side at a time as indicated to find the correct position where I need it. For me, the cut-out line on the A5 was veryโ€ฆ

Works great if you get a good one!

I switched to a note planner and wanted to be able to put my personalized notes and papers in it. Rapesco is a reputable name, the price was right, and the reviews were decent, so I ordered an adjustable punch. The product arrived quickly and in like new condition (I noticed several other reviewers mentioned receiving used product). I tried it right away and noticed that one of the "pins", called the directional punch, didn't retract after the punch. , which means you can't pull the paper outโ€ฆ
