1A max output current in power supply accessory

Unfortunately, two parallel ones are not enough to power a Raspberry Pi 4. My Pi4 draws about 1.3 amps on average, but cuts out at low voltage, possibly peak currents. I'm not sure if I want 3 or 4 of these in parallel, even if it works.

It works, but it will burn you.

Great concept; but a serious problem with listening to the 8-pin dip. It causes skin burns and I don't expect it to last long. My son bought this and it seems to be working for him so it could be a pattern error. It's inconveniently connected to the prototype, so it's worth replacing until it breaks. BTW, I don't think the manufacturer reads these comments and I haven't received a response to this review.

Didn't work for me as a UPS

I have a NanoPi NEO board that runs comfortably at 500mA. So I decided this board would be enough to work as a UPS. I have inserted the correct battery and charged it fully. The board works great with just the battery. Then I plugged it into the wall (USB 1A source) and that works too. BUT when I unplugged it from the wall, my board rebooted due to the voltage drop. The UPS was supposed to prevent this, but it didn't.

Solid board… - Power converter

Clean, well finished, solid design, does what it's supposed to do with little fuss - replaced R7 with 91K for 12V output, added a pair of properly fitted Arctic Silver heatsinks. Epoxy (no not conductive, no need to worry if you're careful), keep everything nice and cool during charging and discharging, currently using it in testing various projects, Yuji 98 CRI 5W Light Engine for two solar powered lanterns. shows our new barn; The CC/CV boost board we use as drivers accepts 12V and drives the

ok but they don't output 5v

most reviews are not related to this product. Even so, they don't output exactly 5 volts. I bought 2, one at 4.75v and the other at 4.95v. For most things it doesn't matter, but for a Raspberry Pi it will complain when it boots to low voltage (vcgencmd get_throttled). The good thing is that the seller will show you what resistor is used to replace it. I used a 100k trimmer set at 31k and got 5.15 volts from it. I booted my raspberry pi with external USB wifi and it ran for 3 hours 38 minutes…

good board Bad documentation.

Good board but poorly written documentation. Here's a paraphrase/explanation that might help: β€’ The board uses MOS components that are easily destroyed by static electricity. Use a soldering iron with a ground wire and take antistatic measures. β€’ To add an on/off switch, connect the switch to the SW terminals. For an "always on" +5 VDC power supply, place a jumper across the SW pins (the red LED will be on). β€’ The circuit board has short circuit protection and other protections. If this doesn't

It works, but the documentation is very patchy.

POSITIVE: 1. Features as advertised.2. The size is perfect for its purpose.3. That we need to short out the SW pads with either a jumper or a switch was perfectly clear in all versions of the instructions. Well done. NEGATIVE: There appear to be at least three different versions of this product. The website shows one thing, the instructions page that came with the device I received shows another, and the device itself was still the third version. This manufacturer will do well if they 1) update
