Installed this fan in a Retroflag SUPERPi case along with a Raspberry Pi 3B+. Firstly, the supplied nuts and bolts were, and probably will be in most cases, too long BUT that's a minor annoyance. The Retroflag case features fan clips that do an excellent job of holding the fan in place. Second, the fan noise is pretty loud when plugged into the 5V pins. Fans work but decently loud when running on 5v, when running on 3.3v they can still be noisy (louder than 20dB) as the blade appears unbalanced and will vibrate randomly or rub against its own chassis. I installed this on my Pi4 and it seems to help with temperature control pretty well. I have an official Pi case, and this morning my Pi was idling at about 75 degrees and doing next to nothing.
