🖥️ High Resolution 4inch Raspberry Pi HDMI LCD Display with Touchscreen & Wide Compatibility Review

I was sweating the bullets hoping this little guy would work on my Pi and that it wouldn't be a hack as I have pretty big plans for it. I'm glad it's on and has a clear, bright screen. The resolution is absolutely perfect for my needs. The touchscreen isn't bad, but it doesn't compare to the responsiveness of the phone. The only reason I docked the star is because the screws refuse to align when the USB and HDMI ports are in place, which is fine, I can get by with that if I'm in the latter case

Works great! No complaints as always. It would be nice if it had more mounting points and it would be nice if it were a bit more rigid, but it's still a screen module.

Good product, reasonable price. The drivers are easy to install and the touchscreen works. The props for a resistive screen are much more precise than those for a capacitive screen, and most projects don't require multi-touch. A couple of minor things: many of the pins in the screen header are unused (NC) and there are quite a few ground pins you only need 1-2. From the 26 pin shield connector I only used 11-12 gpio wires. It would be much better if only used pins had a title as the full unused

This little thing has such a sharp picture and the colors are vibrant too! Hooked it up to my desktop as a third monitor and it's just the cutest thing. Plug and play if you use HDMI (no touch). I haven't tried using gpio pins yet. It would probably give you a whiff too.

Works great with Intel Compute Stick for Windows 10. The display is sharp and various adapters for HDMI and USB are handy for prototyping. This screen is from Waveshare. I used many of their products to develop the ST Micro. You have good products. I will be buying 3 more of these displays to work on prototypes.

Works great with Windows 10. The only problem I found was that the supplied HDMI cable was defective. Switching with known good solved this problem and it works great. The touchpad works like an HID device. Downgraded one star for resolution. The maximum resolution is 1024x600, which Windows will complain about.
