I really liked this dog basket but unfortunately had to return it because part of the attachment didn't fit the handlebars of my e-bike. If it could be moved to a page maybe it would work. On most electric bikes, the control panel is located in the middle of the handlebars. The manufacturer might think that this is due to the huge increase in e-bike purchases in recent years.

Cart doesn't fit my 5 lb dog and keeps sliding towards the tires. Pulled it up a few times but it still slips. I am adding this review from 08/19/21. I took it to a bike shop and they reinstalled it hoping it would work and hold my 5 lb Yorkie. They did everything they could and I left the store feeling hopeful, only to find after 60 seconds that the basket had slipped back down. It was a big disappointment and waste of money.

This basket is very pretty, fairly easy to assemble and really well made. If you want to use it for a pet, it definitely needs a pillow or pad on the bottom. The problem is this doesn't apply to every bike, it doesn't work on my cruiser, I had to put it on the side of the handlebars (see photo) and off center the weight which would make it dangerous for me and my honey Fur. Basket not quite functional, my handlebars don't match the diameter of the part the basket is attached to, so the basket sags and is very thin. The chances of my dog being safe in it are literally zero. The parts that slide down the sides of the basket to keep it upright do not hold their shape. Every time I ride my bike I admire this product over and over again. After some intuitive thought, I was able to easily attach it to my Trek bike (the spacers worked great). It cleans the shift and brake cables well, comes off very easily and is a great blue colour. I haven't tried it with a pet (my Jack Russell probably wouldn't fit) but I do all my shopping with it. The basket attaches to my bike very easily and looks good. I like that it's light. I have an 8 pound Yorkshire cat that fits perfectly in a basket with the rope attached to her harness and pulled as tight as possible.
