IMAX 3D obviously requires linear polarized glasses, they are circular polarized. I've been looking for better IMAX 3D glasses because the crappy yellow ones they give out in theaters are so awful. There is no claim that they are compatible with IMAX 3D, so I'm not saying this is an oversight on the seller's part, just for your information on the application. Picture.

Just received yesterday, they work perfectly. The lens might be too dark but never mind, they seem solid. I received 4 glasses in my order which another reviewer posted saying they received 1 which must have been a selection and packaging error (my guess). Revain should be more descriptive about this item as nowhere does it say that this product comes with 4 passive 3D glasses, just a picture. Great as extra glasses. You get 4 less than the price of one. The only point of criticism, since the "lens" looks more like a film, a bit poor. The only problem is when you try to clean them of fingerprints it feels like the lenses might wrinkle or wrinkle. Again, I wasn't expecting much at this price. These are the extra pairs and goggles I gave my two boys (hence the fingerprints) for my Vizio passive 3D set. The same glasses as in the cinema, so next time I pay $3-4 for a 3D add-on I'll grab
