170mL Stainless Espresso Approved Recaps Review

I bought these mugs because I was tired of breaking double wall glass espresso cups. They are obviously much stronger, really unbreakable. And beautifully crafted, well-polished, smooth surfaces. The only thing is a little less glass. But still in the 5oz size for a traditional Italian cappuccino!

I needed to buy a couple of cups that fit a classic Nespresso machine. This (suggested larger size) fit just right. I like that the top and bottom are glossy and the middle is more of a matte finish. They are also well insulated. I assume they will last a very long time.

The dimensions given for a 170ml cup (2.4 or 2 and 3/8 inches) are actually 80ml cup sizes. I made a purchase based on the wrong sizes in the listing and the cups do not fit my espresso machine as intended. Note that the 170ml mug is 3 1/8 inches tall. So be sure to buy an 80ml mug if you want a short espresso cup, regardless of what the description or FAQ says.
