Pleasantly surprised by this product. I thought this item might be a plastic trick. Used a few in my media room via Roku players and AV receivers. I felt my Roku player and AV receiver didn't get very hot. At medium speed it is very quiet. You won't even know it's on. 4 stars (down one star) because it must be used in pairs and cannot be separated. I wanted one for the AV receiver and one for the projector. But I can not. Two fans are wired to a USB connector.

This is not a 2 pack. This is a dual fan assembly. They are linked together and controlled by a switch and cannot be separated. I was very disappointed as I was expecting two devices. However, these are quiet fans that appear to be well built. Rubber pads keep the fan off the surface it's standing on, whether it's lying down or on edge. If these were two separate devices they would be perfect.

I placed them side by side under my router (in the media center in my living room) and on the lowest setting of the fan (which is no louder than the air coming out of my ceiling fan). ), this lowered the temperature of my router* from 172°F to 133°F.
