Used on Norfolk Island Pine outdoors. Set the timer for 7:00 p.m. - it runs for 6 hours. The 50 string of lights is just right for a tree this size which is about 3 feet tall. Runs on batteries so you won't have trouble plugging it into an outlet.

Bought for Christmas last year, not too shiny but enough to keep you warm on a cold night when you saw it. It has at least five light patterns and stands out from other white or amber lights you've seen. I will definitely keep it this year.

This is great lighting for places where you don't want to use an extension cord. The timer is easy to use and reliable. My only issue is that there is more light on some light strands. You can see in my picture that I have two strands that start at the top of the roof and end the left side lights before the right ones. But the threads are the same length.

Lamps are conveniently placed. product as described. Delivered promptly. There are no spare bulbs included, so if one breaks, you're out of luck. In my opinion, these are carnival colors, not Christmas colors, which were difficult to distinguish in the product photo. So for my purposes they were a bit disappointing.
