I have a small bench where I work on electronics projects, I was looking for the right lighting to see. These little (big) lights are amazing. They are bright but not overly bright and can easily illuminate a work surface evenly. Installation will be pretty easy. Edited 9/3/2019: Just got these but tested one and did a test install to see if they would work for my application. Looks like the perfect lighting solution under my peninsular cabinets. They feel solid and have very strong locking pins that center them in the 2-1/4" hole and hold them securely in the 3/16" thick paneling under the cabinets. I needed to add some light to our caravan and was really struggling to choose between the different temperatures available in these lights. So I finally decided to go with these 4000K tubes and I'm very glad I did. They're not white enough to almost look blue, and not white enough to feel like they're in a fridge, but they're not yellow at all (which I wanted to avoid).
