Made from Solids & Multis: 100% acrylic. Medium Weight #4; also referred to as Aran, Worsted or Afghan weight knitting yarn. Gauge is 4"=17 stitches on size 8 needles; suggested crochet hook is I9. Same dyelot for all skeins in bag; hand wash and lay flat to dry.

Quality Yarn for All Your Knitting Needs

As a result of using this yarn I found that it was perfect for all my knitting needs. The color was vibrant and the texture was smooth, making knitting a breeze .The bulk packaging was also a plus, as I didn't have to constantly run to the store for more. However, the price was a bit higher than other yarns on the market. Overall, I highly recommend this yarn for anyone who wants a quality product for their knitting and crochet projects..

Ocean's colorful yarn was so good that I kept changing my mind about how big it was.

I am making 12 circular afghan blankets. Size of each square >12 inches, 8 wraps of colored yarn and the last 4 wraps of dye-free Caron cream. Sew the squares together and you will end up with afghans measuring 3' x 4' or 3 squares by 4 squares: 4 x 5, 6, x 4, 5 x 5, 6 x 5. Part of the ease of making these afghan plaids , is that you can start weaving squares and then change your mind about how big you want them to be. Ocean's motley yarn was so pretty I kept changing my mind about the size…
