💚 Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle E851.8690 Yarn, Avocado: Sparkle and Scrub with Style! Review

Although I feel this yarn has become quite expensive; I use it with the other, softer scrubby crochet yarn, Scrubbies. I'm giving them away. They can be used in the kitchen for pots, pans, dishes; in the shower to exfoliate or to clean the tub or shower.

I've made my own scrubbers out of these and they come out great BUT when you knit them together with cotton yarn you get a really nice dish/pan scrubber. I have a few people who order my square washcloths and say they make great dishcloths. I have several colors

Nice, shiny and hard on glued trash on anything! I only work in squares and use one color for peeling veggies, one for kitchen utensils and pans, and another for deep cleaning around the house (even stubborn toilet stains)! It's okay to exfoliate your face as long as you're careful not to press too hard on your face! But rubbing elbows etc. is great!

I love knitting washcloths with this yarn. I also duplicate it with other colors. This yarn is great for making the ultimate scrub! I use two threads and just crochet to the right size. They lather so well in the shower. I buy scrubs in the store. Now I can make my own. Also, if you make dishwashing liquid, be sure to wash it regularly, otherwise it will stink. Simply insert linen and air dry.

Not exactly easy to work with but with a bit of patience I've found it does wonderful things. I have crocheted small "mittens" for washing dishes (work around with half crochet after creating the warp chain) - they are great because they can be folded into thicker pads or turned inside out giving 4 washing surfaces. I wash them in the dishwasher and they come out fine. They are also great for gift giving. I'm happy to see they come in more colors now, but they're a lot more expensive now.
