Notches Too Fine

Notches on this fitting are too fine/smooth for safe use with my backpack sprayer. It's easy to put on and take off by hand and seems to rely entirely on the yokes, which isn't a good idea.

Well done, looks good.

I used this to join two sizes of plastic tubing. This is a very undemanding low-pressure application, for which a plastic adapter is also suitable. But it was a real pleasure to use this beautiful well made piece. it always makes me want to buy a quality product. PS Works very well.

Good quality, but be careful, small spikes.

This is excellent quality material but I am concerned about these nicks. The height of the spikes is so low that it almost feels smooth when you run your finger back and forth over them. I would be wary of using it in most applications. You would need to have a lot of confidence in your hose clamps and even then you might not be comfortable with this fitting. Note: I have found that the wall thickness is slightly greater on the larger side of the gear. I'm assuming they can do it in a way that…
