Economical and works

Works great! This tool and the $8 R134a can from Parts-R-Us will do the same job as the $35 disposable can/gauge. Dear economy.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Much better than what came with the AC tank

Much stronger than the hose that originally came with my AC tank. The extra hose length made refilling my system much easier.

Pros
  • . Recommended
Cons
  • No Insurance

Worked great on my '99 Ford F-150!

I have an old Ford F-150 that doesn't blow cold air so I bought some AC canisters and this charging hose. It worked like a champ, plugged directly into my F-150 and I was able to get the air conditioning up and running in minutes.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Low profile fitting fits SRX wagon well

I had a tough job when the typical low pressure fitting on a Cadillac SRX (2016) didn't fit my AC tester and fill system. It has a smaller power connector. It just slides through without much effort.

Pros
  • Pleasure
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It just works! to the repair tool for air conditioning lines

For installing dye in the air conditioning system. Two leaks found and both fixed. I then used this fill hose to fill the AC with two cans of R-134 that I bought locally. Now I have cold air in my 17 year old car. Glad summer is coming soon!

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Almost everything included

I had to buy an extra adapter to use the new type of self-sealing refrigerant bottles. Look at the photo of the plastic adapter I found at Walmart after I bought this hose and couldn't find the older style refrigerant bottles. in my local shops.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • No automatic

Nice little unit. $13.99

I got it from this post a few days ago, I've used it twice and it seems to work fine. The first thing that struck me when looking for a charging hose is that the manufacturers seem to hate specifying the length of these things. 16 inches long, and many appear to be about 12 inches long. With all the different hoses, lines and rails, trust me, it's far better to have them a little too long than too short. Also consider adding refrigerant to your car air conditioner. You'll want to be able to…

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
