The display is very difficult to read in the freezer. I do not recommend this product for the freezer. It seems to work well under refrigerator conditions. I will probably switch to an analogue thermometer

short lived product. Bought them about 9 months ago. I am using them for a fridge in an area where the electricity can go out due to storms. I want to make sure the food in the fridge is at a safe temperature. One died at 6 months, the other at 7 months. There is no way to replace the battery.

I bought this because I wanted the display to be easy to see, which is what happened. However, when the batteries fail after just a few months of use, I cannot remove the microscopic screws to insert a new battery. The spare thermometer I'm going to buy allows me to change the batteries without a magnifying glass.

These are my favorite thermometers! I have a set from March 2020 and love them. I ordered another set last week and it arrived with dead batteries. But a short message to the seller, the seller immediately sent a replacement set, the replacement came very quickly and works perfectly. I keep one in my fridge at home and in the RV, as well as in my freezer in the garage - very reliable!

I ordered these for my broken fridge and was worried the food might spoil. I was hoping to use these thermometers to tell me the actual temperature (since I didn't have a fridge to read it) but after opening the box and reading the instructions it wouldn't turn on. I still can't turn it on months later and ended up buying a new fridge. I would not recommend wasting your money on this poor quality product.
