Enjoy the water

Absolutely delicious. Otherwise we wouldn't drink tap water. Plus, it's a lot easier than dealing with bottler water delivery.

Easy to install in replacement water filter

Easy to install like everything else in DIY videos these days Always have an empty pot and towel for water drops however they want. As required for all water filters, rinse the filter if using a tap water filtration system.

Someone else must have tried to install .

This must have been attempted to be installed in another system as the hoses in blue adapters were already fitted (and cut) in it! I come back! If I get a replacement I will update my review later.

Ideal for areas with purified water

Ice tastes fresh and you don't smell chlorine in the ice bucket when the ice maker has made ice. It is used to change the taste of all my drinks, especially bottled water. So if you live in a purified water area and have an ice maker, this is a good buy.

Easy installation, good taste.

So my filter came with the same tiny tube as the previous reviewer mentioned, but it was very easy to remove. You need to press on the cuff fitting and once it is fully inserted, pull out the tube. Really easy. Don't forget to flush the first 4 gallons.

SEE MY VIDEO! It came with no instructions and just when I thought I figured it out all I had was a wet floor! Water flowed and didn't work! I had to cut the water supply hose to remove and reassemble before I got the bright idea of adding a filter!

Very important ice maker part

I bought a new ice maker and was offered to buy a filter for the water that goes into the ice maker. We did and I'm glad we did. I found our water to be fine, not great, but fine by city and state standards. With the added filter, the ice maker now makes great ice cubes and also reduces the frequency with which I have to clean the ice maker.

Had 4 gallons of water spilled as part of the setup and the water tastes great. I'm glad to stop buying the $50 GE RPWFE.

If you need hoses, fittings and mounting brackets, buy a kit (search for 'Integrated PureWater Water Filter Kit'). Had 4 gallons of water spilled as part of the setup and the water tastes great. I'm glad I'm stopping buying $50 GE RPWFE filters that die every 4 weeks.
