It will not stay in place no matter how tight I make it. It just slides off to the side of the mattress, rendering it pointless. We use jersey sheets which stretch too much to hold it in place, I guess. It also seems like it would leave permanent indentations in her (memory foam) mattress. I even tried putting it inside her waterproof cover, but it still slid off. I also tried weaving it around the bars of her bed, but it was just as slippery. I love that these are not as wide as other brands, it gives our 2.5 year old plenty of room in her twin bed even with one on each side. They were easy to put on by myself. They do slide if I try to move them, but they are tight enough that 2.5 year old doesn't move them when she rolls in her sleep.

Need better quality control. I definitely was shipped a used one. It had yellow stains on it like someone's child had an accident on it or possibly it's just very very old? Never the less I returned it and will order from a competitor because I'm afraid of getting another one like that.

There is one reason to buy this rail - you are worried about your child falling out of the big bed. That’s why I got itI read the reviews about skepticism whether it worked or whether a kid could roll over it. I placed and extra twin mattress beside the bed just in case it didn’t workI can now report after using it for a few weeks it works fine. I think just having some small obstacle pushing back makes my child roll back the other way.Happy with it and it does what I needed it to do.

It works great. It could be a little more narrow because it takes up a lot of room on a toddler bed. Hands down better than the flip down rail.my 3 year old would jump those to get out of bed.this is much safer. keeps them from rolling out of bed but they can get out safely.

We bought this for our grandchild who would be sleeping in a "big" bed for the first time. It wasn't quite as tall as I would've liked so we added a pool noodle to it. It worked great. Not sure if we needed the noodle, but I felt more comfortable with it.

Item is already inflated, did not know that I need to inflated it so I do not know why it's saying in the description about easy to inflated. It is nice for my toddler bed but the ties that you wrap around does not hold still, moves to the edge & there is a little yellowish color on the side of the item. I might need to buy another one from another company.

My 3 y/o moves a lot in her sleep and this barrier is just right for her size to stop her from rolling off a low bed. If she was any heavier or bigger, it may not work as well because it does have the tendency to move when larger people get near it. I would suggest some sort of velcro or sticky backing to keep the foam piece from moving off the side of the bed.
