It will not stay in place no matter how tight I make it. It just slides off to the side of the mattress, rendering it pointless. We use jersey sheets which stretch too much to hold it in place, I guess. It also seems like it would leave permanent indentations in her (memory foam) mattress. I even tried putting it inside her waterproof cover, but it still slid off. I also tried weaving it around the bars of her bed, but it was just as slippery. If they had put rubber traction, like on the bottom of non-slip socks, under it, it would be great! As it is, it’s totally useless— at least for us. Maybe if you had an innerspring mattress and/or tight sheets.
