Bad castings suitable for window regulators and motors

This clamp is so small in the tube area that it screws onto the lift screw so it doesn't screw properly onto the lift rod. This will apply excessive force to what is already a weak structure and fail prematurely, if not immediately. I have done many complete car repairs and even I could not install this part without damaging the plastic due to excessive force. You shouldn't buy anything wrongly shaped, just wasting your time and money. They need to redesign their plastic injection mold to…

As bad as OEM on power windows and motors

This product is similar to OEM and will break. Unless you change a few things. When you screw the cable to the plastic, it expands and the plastic gets stuck in the channel. I expanded the channel to allow free movement. Okay, this problem is solved, now consider that you only get a plastic part and no instructions. Before you start, watch A1auto's video to learn how to do it. You will need a small self tapping screw or a small nut and bolt. I would not recommend this product to anyone, 15…

The window is broken again. The plastic part failed :(

Bought in December 2016 and my window broke again. I rarely rolled down the window for fear of the plastic part failing again. Of course the last month just rolled down the window a few inches and the window crashed into the door frame Luckily it didn't break :( I had a hunch this was going to happen because the plastic was very delicate when attaching the plastic part to the metal pivot bar so I had to take care don't screw it in too tight or the plastic will crack like the original, I even…

very bad casting - lots of problems, total failure and a huge waste of time.

Aside from the one complaint everyone has about the hole that needs to be opened, this part has another problem, which is that the metal clip cannot properly secure the brass tab to the window. The product contains too much material and the clip is too wide - see both photos. The faded clip is standard, it barely protrudes from the hole. The cleaner clip has been modified and should seem to work, but it's still not enough and the window pops up after a few swipes up and down. I'm sure I could…
