I've wanted to record home video from VHS to digital for a long time and this is perfect for my needs! I used an adapter to go from RCA (RWY) to HDMI and then used this dongle to record on my computer. For the software I have used OBS and so far so good!

I have a complicated live streaming and recording setup (multiple cameras and audio with audio interface) and need an OBS solution. I got 2 graphics cards from Revain and this is the only one that worked for my setup. I have this so I can stream my switch to play jackbox games over skype. It works, there is a bit of lag although I wouldn't use this for playing more latency sensitive video games. There's no pass-through, meaning the only output you get is on the computer, which doesn't really matter to me, but if you want to record on the computer and still play it back on the TV, you probably should take another map. Windows recognized it immediately and displayed it directly in the built-in camera app.
