I read a lot of negative reviews here. I am a bit confused. I took a chance and got it as a replacement for the Remington 3790 and Remington 3800. I received the Remington item in Remington packaging. It's exactly the same as on the razors originally. It suits both of them perfectly. It's identical to what came on the factory razors, both the screen and the blades. I can't understand how people can have trouble finding and replacing accessories for something as simple as a $20 electric razor.

Although the packaging says this is a Remington replacement part for several shavers including my DA-407, this is not the case. The shaft of the razor head is so worn that it just slides over the cutting heads and doesn't need to be rotated. However, the screen frame is too wide to fit in the razor head. This causes the frame and screen to deform in the middle, making it difficult to replace the blades after cleaning. It also rubs on the cutters when they vibrate, so I'm not expecting a very…

Replaced foil and blade on my F3800. Contrary to some comments, it is identical to the original - two rows of 25 blades. Doesn't fit my DF-56. See photo where the original is on the left. The cutter is smaller than the original. The foil itself is also shorter than the original, but the plastic body of the net is much thicker and too thick for my shaving head. Do not buy for DF-56. Not as advertised. Remington shear blades and mesh are overpriced and the price seems to change every time I order them. I use a Remington 3800, an inexpensive clipper, but it's as good as any expensive clipper. Since the price of a blade and foil is very close to the price of a new clipper, I wait until the clipper price goes down and order 3 or 4. Then every 3 months instead of replacing the blade and foil, swap I just throw away the whole clipper and use a new one.
