I've only been using it for about a week and I've already noticed that the freezer smell has disappeared in my recommendation. I don't know how long that will take. But I guess I'll find out when my transfer starts smelling again. (not for spoiled food)

We recently read that charcoal is 100 times more effective than baking soda at absorbing odor and moisture, plus the added benefits of extending the shelf life of fruit Vegetables (which saves a lot of money over time).
