Simple and easy assembly

Not much to say about these braces other than they are simple, strong, well made and easy to assemble. I have used these brackets to mount some 100 watt Renogy solar panels on my RV and they work great. They are attached to blocks of wood that are glued to the roof of the van because I didn't want to drill holes in the roof of the van. They've been there for 3 years now and I've had no problems. A "must buy" in my opinion.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Everything ok

The Best Way to Fix Suner Panel.

There would have been no chance of installing the Suner panel without the Z bracket. There is enough space between the back wall of the Suner panel and the frame of the Suner panel to insert a short rivet. I used four rivets to attach the panel to the Z brackets and then simply bolted the Z brackets to a piece of weathered 16X20 plywood that was mounted to the side of the snow plow shed. The brackets have pins that support the outside edges of the panel. Very convenient!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Very expensive

Solar Panel Bracket

These brackets are used to mount an aluminum framed solar panel to a hard surface. In my case, I attached a plate to my RV's roof rack and attached a U-bolt around the roof rack to the bracket. All I had to do was buy the matching connecting nuts/bolts. The kit includes hardware to attach the brackets to the panel frame. I used Lock Tight to ensure the nut wouldn't come loose. The kit also includes 8 self-tapping screws that you may or may not use depending on how you mount it.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Sturdy brackets - but prepare to reseal them

I used these brackets to mount 3 150w Renogy panels on the roof of my camper van. They are strong, inflexible and well made.; However, they are designed to cover the panel mounting holes once the bracket has been bolted to the roof. Gasket between roof and brackets. Their design would be better if they were made with easily accessible side screw holes.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • The Secret

Nice design although installation is difficult.

Would NOT use 1 1/4" screws to attach brackets to roof, RV etc. Leaks may occur. But the bracket design is well thought out. Lots of research, fixed brackets to trailer's roof (3/8" thick plywood with EPDM roof) with 1" long SS screws with 1/4" hex head and 1/8" rubber washer. But used 8 brackets instead 4 on the power solar panel 100w. Used 1/8" thick cork gasket between roof and bracket. Sealed on both sides with Permatex sealant and "blue" screw lock. After 1 week of hardening, apply Dicor…

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • can't remember but there was something
