Terrible. Should have figured out since it's water based it wouldn't work. Has held water due to light rain but could not when watered. Tried this and Raggtop failed. The only thing that helped seal my Saab convertible top was the 303 fabric. Avoid this overpriced water based product.

This works very well - water collects on top like a freshly polished car. Applying to vertical (or near-vertical) surfaces can be a little tricky - have a damp towel handy! I applied one coat and it lasted about 4 months. I've worn two coats this summer - still waiting to see how long it lasts.

This thing really makes my top look new. But even after leaving the top on for a few days after applying, my top seems to shrink a bit making it difficult to open and close. I have a Pontiac Solstice and the top has an odd and complex configuration. So now it's more like pain. But it looks good and definitely drips water.

I have read many reviews on this product and all I can say is if you don't like it then you did something wrong. My 16 year old convertible top that I bought at a junkyard literally looks brand new. With two bottles of Black Recovery and Ultra Proofer. I am 110% satisfied. Highly recommended. But follow the instructions to the letter. You can't go wrong. I didn't rush the process and spent the whole weekend working. TO THE RIGHT!

Very pleased with how well this product works. The instructions for use of the brush were not followed. The brush seems to apply a lot of product in one area. I used a grout sponge to apply the product and found this to be the best application method. I ordered 2 bottles for a 2005 VW Beetle soft top and it took 1.5 bottles for the first coat. The product is water based so the second coat repels most of the top and penetrates where the top had creases and where I suspect the top actually leaked

I have used Renovo Cleaner and Ultra Proofer on my BMW 3 Series. The 500ml bottle only lasted for the top part, leaving a few tablespoons (20ml or less). The top used to soak up water, but now it bubbles up. From the morning I was able to clean the top with the first product, mask the car and start applying the Ultraproofer. I left it in the garage for about 12 hours and drove on the next morning. If there's one thing I can recommend, it's to use plastic instead of newspaper to wrap the car…
