My original key fobs became fragile and could open the car just by putting the key in my pocket. Just make sure you have a Phillips Jeweler's screwdriver to pry open the old FOB.

For starters: much CHEAPER than paying a locksmith ($150) or dealer ($400) for a new key fob when all I needed was a new button. I didn't use a shell because I didn't want to lose the Ram logo on the back. a little light trimming with a fresh razor blade and it fits like a glove. Key presses are much clearer and you know you actually pressed them. My father-in-law has the same problem as me with one of his keychains. Will buy again if this one lasts.
