🚦 LED Brake Light Replacement 3rd High Mount Brake Light for Chevrolet Suburban 1500/2500 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe GMC Yukon Review

Very happy with this purchase. It was cheaper than replacing the original bulbs and looks good. The fit, finish, quality and ease of installation are second to none.

Although the light will "fit" on a Yukon '05, the clip will not "snap" to hold the connection to the light securely. I've completed the installation and will see if it stays connected, but I doubt it. If you are looking for a third light for your 05 Yukon I would look elsewhere.

Works and fits. The only problem is that the plug is made in the shape of a small square and not a round oval like a factory light. If you remove the electrical connector gasket and cut off one of the two rings, you can install and snap the connector into place.

Installed on my 2004 GMC Yukon but I had to remove the tiny rubber tip from the connector that connects to the new brake light socket and plug it in to make the connection. As this light is not OEM you may need to do this or shave the rubber tab off the connector a little to make it work. The light is bright too.

Install the main gasket and line up the holes. The locking tongue was an issue. The stud on the light is small and I had to remove the gasket from the connector to allow the tab to fit over the stud. I'm not sure how it will hold up, but we'll see. Uses silicone to seal a small gap. In addition, it is easy to install. Works and looks good.

Good, at least when installing. I don't think the wire connector snapped off the car (Yukon 2000) though. Without measuring everything there is a visual difference between the OEM part and this replacement, both at the bushing and the latch. The outlet also cut off some of the plug's weatherproof strips on the way in. Time will tell how long this actually works.

Suitable but requires additional work. Eventually the pins got bent because the fit wasn't perfect/neat and I didn't realize this until after installation. Good value compared to the mainstream brand (which costs more), but if you're not ready (or not tech-savvy) for the extra work spend the extra cash on a Dorman or GM OEM out. This was for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe with a hatchback hatchback.
