I got my husband a beautiful black LV bag for his birthday. I liked the bag but the strap is uncomfortable. We replaced the strap with this gem and it fits great and is very comfortable. After a little oil on the tape (olive oil and paper towel/let dry) no collision occurs. Deal Steal.

Bought on October 16th, now the band falls apart on June 17th. Initially, the band looked decent and felt sturdy. I was disappointed at first as the first picture on the product page shows smaller clasps although they are actually quite large. The rest of the tape was fine. Fast forward 8 months and one side of the belt is about to fail. The strap was used normally on a daily basis as part of my laptop work bag. I expected it to last longer. Time for a new purchase, I will not buy again.

The soft part folds by itself and does not keep its shape at all. It was easier for me not to use it at all because I was uncomfortable with the cotton pad digging into my shoulder. As if that wasn't enough, the lining slides all over the belt so it doesn't stay where you put it. I bought a shoulder strap at the same time I bought a replacement shoulder pad because the binder had a 1 inch strap and cut into his shoulder. This belt comes with a matching shoulder pad, but the weight of his bag made it very uncomfortable to wear for long periods, so I bought a replacement Shacke memory foam shoulder pad, removed the smaller pad and used the larger one. Two positives can be noted about this product - carabiners and an adjustable buckle. The snap hooks are strong and dark metal to match the metal parts of my old canvas briefcase. I bought these to replace the handles on the bag I carry my dog in. Good rating so I got two. It's terrible. The shoulder pads often slip, and the length you shorten or lengthen the strap to takes about 30 minutes. They slowly wear down to the longest setting and it's so annoying. I bought it so I can lengthen the straps if needed and it's nice. But if I want them to be shorter, the bag doesn't stay that long.
