Fits 2010 Tundra: body and fairing

Perfect fit for my 2010 Tundra. Easy installation. It's only been a few months so only time will tell if it holds up, but so far so good.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Not sure

Poor quality of spare parts

Works. However, the quality is lacking. The outer part flexes too much and sags in the plastic. Neither was any of the contact points lubricated. I have a feeling this part won't last very long.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Disappear

Weak clips: Outside door handles

The plastic clips are quite weak. The hole on one was plugged and broke when I tried to take it off. Luckily I was able to reuse the broken factory handle. Overall the fit was perfect and installation was pretty easy.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No work

Very easy replacement, looks and works great

When I broke the back door lock handle I thought oh no how much is THAT going to cost? It's a direct replacement and it only took about 10 minutes. Really easy and looks great. For reference, I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Minor issues

Easy to fit on replacement parts

Broken rear door handle on Toyota Tundra. It wasn't too difficult to install. The only downside is that it feels kind of flimsy. Also, I have to open the latch from the right side, not the middle. Plus, it was a great cheap alternative to retail.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Negative impression

Took 6 months on Trim

It's been 6 months since I installed this latch and it broke. We didn't have a really bad winter either, but it just didn't last. I've had my original since 2008 and haven't been able to use it for a whole year. Parts of the hard black plastic broke when the lever was pulled up.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Expensive

Broke after a few uses

Installation went well. The quality seemed good. Broke after a few uses. They replace as soon as possible. Hope the new one is better. The plastic came loose from the plastic in two places. Do not expose to excessive heat or cold. The temperature was 50-75 degrees. I will update if the new one is better. Ar this point I would not recommend.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Problems

Just as good as OEM if not better! Can't beat the price!

HOW GOOD IF NOT BETTER OEM! NO MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED, DIRECT OEM REPLACEMENT. LOOKS AND WORKS AS GOOD AS FACTORY! Back in business after my pen broke last week. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to buy directly from Toyota! It was a day earlier than originally expected!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I'll write later

Works fine with a little work.

Works well. Seems a little lighter than OEM. I had to change how the locking pin held the cylinder. The preset position was in the wrong place, allowing the cylinder to be inserted into the tailgate. I've also found that the grip works much better if you add some lube to the junction of the plastic and metal actuators.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Upgradable
