Wasn't compatible. A different chip than I need.

Does not fit my 2015 Prius. Physically the same, well carved and a great fit, but the transponder was on a different frequency than my key. Sorry, I can't remember what frequency this spare key works on.

Great key, hard to find where to cut

This is the same key as my 2012 Prius C as the key has a transponder don't cut it. Insist, cut it somewhere like Walmart or Home Depot and use techtool to clone your key yourself. Best $180 I've saved.

This wrench will NOT work with shaved teeth only. It must also be programmed!

Even if you remove the "guts" from your old key, the 2012 Prius C at least has a programmed chip that cannot be physically removed from the old key without damaging it. So you have to program the chip into this new key. On a positive note, this key comes with all the electronics - it wasn't actually blank inside. That means you pay the locksmith one thing less: you pay for teething and programming, but you don't have to pay for a new chip or electronics.

Remote keyless transmitter programmed working very very poorly

I wish I could give 0 stars! When I bought a used car, it only had one key. So I bought 2 keys from the seller and successfully programmed the chip and remote control functions. I had to buy a special programming tool and unfortunately the return period passed when I found that they didn't work. The remote control function works very, very poorly and sporadically.
