1 brick can be substrate in more than 4 40 gallon grow tanks

From other reviews I was apprehensive about trying it. But i really like it. It's cheaper than the reptibark I usually buy, I pay $32 for 24 liters and it was the same for 72. It also holds moisture well. Before I bought it, I read that it would "dye" the bellies of your snakes. I flushed it a few times before putting it in all my tanks, no red bellies. There are no dyes or anything like that. The only thing I don't like is how hard it is to break off a part since I didn't use the whole stone…

Ideal for ball pythons.

I recently decided to try this product on my Python ball racks and I am very glad I did. I bought one stone thinking it would do for multiple cases, but when it was expanded I ended up with a whole tub. It took a little trial and error to keep the humidity from getting too high, but in my experience it's better to have a substrate where you need to lower the humidity than one that's too dry. I'm surprised how clean the material is, I was expecting it to be dirty and dusty, but you can mix it up

  • Not All Will Fit

Get wet first! suitable for litter, sand and terrarium substrate

Wet first! It's very hard to fall apart when you try to dry it. ** I strongly recommend that you have an empty tub on hand for any leftovers from filling the tanks. ** 1.) Cut slits on both sides at the top of the packaged substrate. 2.) Fill the packaged substrate 1/2 full with water and shake gently to distribute the water. Leave for 2-5 minutes for the mass to expand. 3.) Cut off the rest of the plastic so that you can then easily pour the substrate into the terrarium and/or bath. I love…
