Review on 🦎 ReptiChip 72 Quart Coco Chip Substrate: Compressed Coconut Brick Bedding for Reptiles by Sandra Landgrebe

Get wet first! suitable for litter, sand and terrarium substrate

Wet first! It's very hard to fall apart when you try to dry it. ** I strongly recommend that you have an empty tub on hand for any leftovers from filling the tanks. ** 1.) Cut slits on both sides at the top of the packaged substrate. 2.) Fill the packaged substrate 1/2 full with water and shake gently to distribute the water. Leave for 2-5 minutes for the mass to expand. 3.) Cut off the rest of the plastic so that you can then easily pour the substrate into the terrarium and/or bath. I love this product. This is the second best bedding for your ball python, with TerraFirma bioactive taking the top spot, but it is expensive and designed for bioactive enclosures. This is a bang for your buck and you get a lot. I have a 67 gallon (48" x 17" x 18") and it completely covers my BP tank which takes a while for spot cleaning. It loves to burrow in it and it holds moisture really well.
