I use it for a round airbrush styler and can be worn after use. I wish it was a bit bigger to fully encase the styler lengthwise. I can wrap them wide but I never pack them right after use as not all parts of the brush are fully covered. So it's a disappointment that I didn't know how big it needs to be to fully cover the brush from top to bottom or the heated area of the brush. If like me you like to be organized e.g. B. If I don't like leaving my hair straightener or curling iron on the bathroom counter, then this product is for you. Immediately after using my tools I put them on this mat in the drawer and the mat keeps the heat from going into the wood etc. I love this product.

This heat resistant rug is great! I bought 2 a few months ago. 1 for me and 1 for my teenage daughter. I have a glass vanity and my glass broke because my hot straightener was sitting on it. This is a decent mat that keeps heat away from the surface it's on but gets incredibly hot when in use. My curling iron doesn't have a base, so the hot part sits right on top of the mat, which is probably why it gets so hot. Compared to much cheaper rugs I'm not sure I would buy them again. This keeps my wand from slipping off the stand and moving around so easily.

Love this little rug! Just got it and had to use it right away. The only thing I would have liked to be different is the size. Should have ordered 11 inches! A very comfortable mat though. Saves my dressing table from burns and juggling hot instruments. Think I'll give this as a stocking gift for the holidays! I will order a larger rug.

What a wonderful invention! I wish it was somewhere when I was younger. I can put two different hot styling tools on it at the same time, both tools heated to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It's perfect for keeping my tools from slipping or twisting on the countertop while protecting them. It also serves as an excellent warning system. For my husband. He knows that "things are hot on the pink thing". Conveniently rolls up for storage, or you can hang it on a hook like I did. Would buy again!

It's nice to be able to put a flat iron or curling iron on the counter without fear of burning the surface. I always balance and make sure my tools don't burn the countertop. It's also nice to be able to be comfortable stashing tools along with a mat wrapped around it. I know that's probably cool enough as it is, but it makes me feel more comfortable.

For some, it may be suitable for traveling. They can be big enough. But I think it's just not enough. Think of a small salad bowl.
