THESE GLOVES WORK. I had one that came with a very expensive hot comb and we lost it. These gloves are much softer and do what they are supposed to do - protect your hand from the heat and steam AND they are very good for the price. I think I have two gloves per hand but they are very stretchy so it doesn't matter. I bought the gloves after getting badly burned with a curling iron. Now I don't feel any heat at all even if I take a wand heated to 350 degrees and hold it for a few seconds. Money very well spent.

There's nothing special about these gloves. They look exactly like the cheap cotton gloves I bought at Dollar Tree last winter for $1, Roy has them bigger. A follard tree would have been better because they really hit. They are too big for my medium sized hand. There is nothing unique about these gloves that makes them heat resistant.
