Supco Knockout Valve

Excellent way to add a charge connector if it is not available from the factory eg. B. in window air conditioners or refrigerators. Can also be used to replace the damaged connector on the car with a large enough size. When using spacers, be sure to place the GASKET WITH HOLE on the PULL SCREW side, otherwise the jack screw may be damaged. ENSURE the print is FULLY OPEN when installing. After you have installed and tightened the mounting screws, NOW tighten the jacking screw to puncture theโ€ฆ

This was perfect for what I needed

options I have an old freezer that has not been used for several years. I went to plug it in and left it for a couple of days and it didn't cool down properly. I thought about just buying a new chest freezer, but after doing some research on the internet I decided to give the refrigerant topping up a try. I bought this kit and used the kit to charge my car air conditioner and now the freezer is working again. The bullet valve worked exactly as it should, allowing me to refill the freezer. Iโ€ฆ

Worked for an unauthorized purpose to extend the life of a window air conditioner

This kit was used to make R-134 automotive coolant and R-134 automotive coolant topped up in a window bracket and it worked fine.The knockout valve is fitted in the low pressure line with no shims and doesn't appear to be leaking a week after fitting.Most likely bought a few more years before we need to replace the upstairs cooling unit, where the narrow ducts prevent the system from really cooling.DIY and cheap.I figured the worst thing I could do was destroy the device I was planning toโ€ฆ

Ideal for refrigerators with sealed system

This variant of the cone valve uses an O-ring to seal the hole in the body. I used it on a 4 year old Samsung fridge where the freezer stopped working (a pretty common problem apparently). No mechanic will touch it as it is a sealed (and Samsung) unit. Instead of throwing away the $3,000 fridge, I bought it to charge the R134. So far this seems to have worked. Installation was easy and the adapter is a nice touch as you can use any R134 charging system on the valve with the adapter installedโ€ฆ
