I was amazed that I was able to get a Gold Cartridge SSD for my retroflag case. As a kid in the 80's I knew everyone had good old gray NES cartridges, but everyone had at least ONE Legend of Zelda Gold cartridge. Now when I look at my NesPi I can switch cartridges for desktop mode or game mode and it gives me a feeling of good old nostalgia.

A super simple beautiful case for your SSD and a cart/reader case to match. If I had just one remark, it's the old USB Micro B to A. If it had USB C, it would be better. Just no luck with the micro B type, always break up. Just not a strong connection with time. But that shows this is a great read/SSD case. Right now we need reproductions of stickers for the trolley :).

Looks great especially when it comes with a special label (see my pictures). It contains a generic label. Matches the NESPi 4 case quite well. I'm only reducing the price a bit as the NESPi 4 comes with an identical gray case so you're paying for cosmetic luxury. However, it also includes a SATA-to-USB adapter in the form of an NES case, so that has value too. plus a SATA to USB adapter.

I love the retro look. I first bought the NESPI4 kit which came with the gray cartridge but I also wanted the gold cartridge. When I saw this setup I knew I had to get it. All you have to do is insert your own 2.5" SSD into the cartridge, rotate the cartridge, insert the cartridge into the case and connect the case to the PC with the cable provided. This item is great. The plastic molding, texture, ink printing and label sticker are all of the highest quality. This is definitely not a product made on cheap equipment. It's definitely on par with anything made by a big and very wealthy company like Nintendo. The issue to watch out for is Revain shipping. The box that this item comes in is also part of the value of this item as I believe this item is a collector's item, but also the box itself is very nice and high quality with good printing.
