These bags are well made. First I washed them and I had no problems with strands flying off. You walk with a pair of shoes. Now my shoes are tidy on the shelf and don't gather dust.

I bought them specifically for storing bread but they are very dry bread. Now I'm going to use these bags for something else. Another note: they shrink in the washing machine.

I bought the bread bags that I get from the baker. I prefer bread with a crunchy crust, and plastic bags keep the crust soft. These bags solved the problem. The crust stays crispy and the inside stays soft and chewy. They were also the right size for the bread I buy.

They are not as thick as I expected and I can see part of the contents of the pack. I was planning to use them for our Christmas book and some gifts. As for the look of the book, it's not a big deal to take a peek at the book covers as they aren't really any surprises, but with gifts I had to be a little picky and careful about placing them under the tree.
