The straw that came with my gallon water jug never fitted properly, lost suction and was just plain problematic. So I bought these as a replacement and I love them. Flexible enough that I can close my water jug without worrying they will come out intact. Biggest downside is that it sometimes gets stuck in my water jug under the lid, requiring me to take the lid off and readjust

They are quite long and fit perfectly in my QT screw top cup that flips open to drink. The straw is much more comfortable when you are driving. They also give you tiny brushes with a long reach to go all the way through that fit in a cleaning straw. You can bend the straw for storage, but it will keep its shape when you bend it straight again. You can also cut it to any size you want. Our house loves it!

While on vacation I bought a nice container in the shape of a hydro flask. He was tall and slim, so I could easily slip him in my pocket. The only problem was watching long enough. I bought a few extra lengths to try and not dice. They are adjustable so they are long enough to be trimmed. Very easy to clean with a straw brush and dishwasher safe. I suggest rinsing the inside out after the dishwasher as there was some soap residue in there at one time.

These straws were purchased to replace the stainless steel straws which came in an insulating cup. Steel had some advantages, but they were less pleasant to use. I like these silicones much more. Silicone straws are also much safer. I had to replace my insulating glass because I knocked it off the table and it fell head first onto the floor on the end of a stainless steel straw which blasted a hole in the inner bowl of the glass. I had no straws and only a brush. It also came in that ziplock packaging. They are very broad and not strong. If you chew it, it would be like chewing gum. Since they are so wide, you cannot use them in a jar with a lid. Air can't get through because it forms a seal (because they're so wide) so you can't get anything out when you try to drink.
