These are great straws and the cleaning brush works well. Unfortunately, they cannot be cut shorter without creating sharp edges.

I bought a regular glass but it's taller than the straw that came with mine and the plastic is thin and pliable and not strong like the straw that came with was delivered to my glass. Bad replacement

Straws are ok. They are hard plastic and if you bite down on straws (like me, I bite my straws and chew them) these straws will break and break. They bend in the dishwasher when placed in the cutlery tray, but when placed horizontally on the top shelf they clean well. They mostly work.

I wanted to stop using plastic straws that you throw away after each use. It's awesome! I love her. They also come with a brush so you can clean them properly. I highly recommend it if you want to reduce plastic.

I drink about a gallon of water a day and have a large 32 ounce steel glass to keep ice and water cold all day.
