I have very curly/frizzy hair and need to use this type of hair dryer to straighten my hair. I've used different brands for many years, but I didn't like any of them. The last thing I tried was Conair. It felt quite heavy and the brush head kept falling off (so annoying!). I even tried ordering another one and the same thing happened. Then I tried this Revlon dryer. Doesn't matter! Not only does the brush head stay in place, it feels softer and gentler on your head instead of sharp and scratchy

I've been using this hair dryer since mid-August 2020. I always use this type, the one with the brush head, so I didn't have to learn. The problem started on the third use. The brush head fell off every time I tried to brush my hair with it. It slid into the grooves where the brush sits, but then fell out. I like the performance, period. In my life I have had 4-5 classic cars. I am also sending back 2 new ones that I ordered and received. They are at least 1/3 bigger, difficult to hold because that part is bigger, and they can't go through your hair like they usually do because that part is bigger and uncomfortable to hold and use. I'll never know why you had to put up with a good product. If you ever restore them to an older model VS 8540 please contact me, thanks.

One overheated and shorted out after six months. The manufacturer saw my negative review and sent me another one as the hair dryer was still under warranty.
