People with straight hair need curly hair. If you have curly hair, you want straight hair. We never want what we have, that's true. I have thick short straight hair and while I don't want messy curly hair it's nice to have some waves on my head. That's where this curling iron comes to the rescue. I purchased the 3/4 inch curling iron in February 2020. This is my third purchase of this Revlon iron. The previous ones were amazing until they accidentally fell on the tiled floor. The New and Improved theme is not an improvement! The screw that attaches the clip to the iron has been displaced resulting in less tension and causing my hair to slip out of the clip. I had this curling iron a long time ago, that is a long time ago. I wanted the same brand and bought this updated version a month ago. I love it! . Someone who was savvy saw needed a stand so it didn't roll around like the old one, made the heat controls much easier to read and the on/off button was better! I'm very happy with my new version of my old but dead curling iron. I waited until I used it before writing a review. I don't like product reviews that people just took out of the box! Ouch.
