No connection with strips. It either holds the strip or it doesn't snap into place. On a positive note I got so frustrated I broke my soldering iron and am a much better solderer now.

First I took an existing one and shorted it but it took a long time and needed more. Then he found her. Only complaint: when they are closed they are very difficult to reopen :) But you only need to reopen them if you move things around, once installed they are installed

The first plug I tried broke as soon as I connected it. Plastic"door" just fell off. It was broken at the "hinge". The second one I tried didn't connect the LED strips at all. I've tried some tricks suggested by other reviewers but to no avail. I would avoid this product.

It was easy! These things are exciting. Works great even with the cheapest LED strip. I watched many band tuning videos and wasted my time. With this, everything is as simple as an obvious LED on one side and a wire on the other. The plastic feels of good quality not to break.

I love these. Makes repairing my moldings easier. Soldering is such a burden when you just want to fix the connection. But in my opinion it lasts longer because there is no solder to peel off from degradation. I suggest this for DIYers. Or those who, like me, enjoy teaching construction.

I really liked the concept but it was difficult to connect the two different ends of my lights. I had to try 4 times with 4 different connectors, so I'm glad there were 10 in the package. Once I got one working properly it worked fine and I had no problems.

I bought these to use with my Govee Dreamcolor lights and they didn't work at all. The design is terrible. The pins coming from below are useless and the strip won't stay in the clip. They either fall out right away or in order for them to be nice and tidy in the clip they don't connect because you have to place them so they're tight. Also, they are very difficult to open. Will definitely buy something else to use.

The thing works great. Make sure you purchase the correct clips for the strip you are working with. They don't work with bare LED strips because they are too thin and will fall out, or with hard plastic strips. A little preparation helps too. Remove the tape and maybe a layer or two of plastic on the back of the strip will make it easier for the pins to make contact. Much easier than soldering.

I agree with some others here that the theme doesn't work for some strips. In my case I bought 5v IP30 tapes, very thin and without additional protection. By inserting the strip into the slot and closing the lid 100%, I can still easily pull the strip out (it's not sticky at all). What I did to get around this was to cut a small piece of cardboard across the width or inside of the connector and use tape to attach the cardboard to the end of the LED strip.
