I don't understand why negative reviews?
The thing works great. Make sure you purchase the correct clips for the strip you are working with. They don't work with bare LED strips because they are too thin and will fall out, or with hard plastic strips. A little preparation helps too. Remove the tape and maybe a layer or two of plastic on the back of the strip will make it easier for the pins to make contact. Much easier than soldering.
